This is our baby room and caters from birth to 2-year-olds. The ratio for this group is 1:4.
We work with family's home routines as much as possible to avoid causing too much disruption with a child's routine. This helps them to settle into the room easier.
The main areas of development of this age group include tummy time, gross motor skills, making connections with Educators and having a sense of security with lots of cuddles.
Our toddler room is for 2 - 3-year-olds. The ratio for this Group is 1:5
This group are starting to find their way with boundaries and manipulating toys in their environment, learning some independence and starting to do things for themselves. Communication and toileting are the main development areas in this room also developing gross and fine motor skills and lots of messy play.
Mini Minors is our 3 to 5-year-olds. The ratio for this group is 1:10
We start preparing this age group for school, working on their independent and team-building skills, name recognition and fine motor skills. Children are encouraged to be responsible for putting their own clothes and lunch away, putting things away after they have finished playing with them, respecting the equipment and other people, working more on communication and social skills ready for Kinder.
